OUR STORY

Shades of Green/Sfumature di Verde was born out of necessity. There was a recognition by a group of families that the education system as it stood, was insufficient to meet the needs of their children. They worked hard to build a holistic educational model that was unlike anything else in the Toscana region. The spirit of the project was imbued with their instinctive sense that children thrive best in an environment that allows them to discover the world about them, free from the constraints of bells and whistles. They wanted a place that nurtured their children's anima, that satisfied their thirst to understand, and enabled them to fulfil their creative expression.
